Coach Tyler Banister has served Mt. Zion Middle School as Athletic Director for the past five years, during his tenure with the Eagles. He has a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education, as well as a master's degree in Instructional Technology, Media, and  Design. As an alumni of the University of West Georgia, the West Georgia area and communities hold a special place for him. Coach Banister currently coaches girls' basketball and soccer for Mt. Zion Middle School, aiming to build character, skills, and prepare his players for life ahead. On a personal level, Coach Banister enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and serving the families of Mt. Zion.
